A fire engine or emergency vehicle on its way to an incident has ‘right of way’ in the traffic. Unfortunately, fellow road users do not always grant right of way. It is therefore essential that the driver of the vehicle has optimal visibility of the road.
It is possible to turn an unmanned crane into an observation platform by placing one of our cameras on the crane’s basket and a monitor in the operators’ position. During a major incident the system could be used to keep an eye on specific people in the crowd for example. At a glance the operator could see where disturbances are originating so emergency services are directed to that location.

This Color Zoom Camera is heat-resistant and is 100% waterproof thanks to nitrogen over-pressure filled camera housing with watertight IP 69. The lens has a zoom function so the 72x zoom and reduction gives you the right picture at any given moment ( 72x zoom lens 0/5/degree to 48 degree horizontal opening angle with RS232 connection to 7" LCD controlling zoom function from 7" LCD Monitor itself. Activating the 0 lux function, dark areas can be seen properly. The lens glass are hardened chemically to prevent breakage, scratches and damages. The thermostat controlled heated lens glass offers protection against condensation and is 7 times stronger than ordinary glass. SilverState Safety Image is the exclusive distributor for ORLACO.
